Sai Shivalay installed at Sainath Devsthanam

Jamshedpur, June 23: The third and concluding day of �Prana Prathishtha� (sacred rituals adhered to during installation of Hindu Deity) saw a huge crowd of devotees flocking the huge premises of Sainath Devsthanam at Ghorabandha to have a glimpse of the crystal Shivling today.

On the final day of the Pratishtha Mahotsav, the holy rituals commenced with Pradhan Hawan and Uttarang Hawan after which five high priests, chanting Vedic verses, performed the auspicious Prana Prathishtha of the crystal Shivling. Later the Mahapuja Abhishek was performed with milk and water poured on the symbol of the Deity. This signaled the conclusion of the three day Shri Shivalay Prana Prathishtha Mahotsav.

After performing the Bholey Baba Maha Arti, idols of Gods and Goddesses brought from Jaipur were decorated attractively with clothes and jewelry and the doors of the Shivalay were opened for the devotees. A huge crowd lined up to have a glimpse of the Deities. After the worship concluded Shri Shivalay was christened Sai Shivalay.

In the afternoon consecrated offerings were distribute among the swarming devotees.

The evening session that commenced at 7 pm, was slotted for devotional songs by popular local singers. Their presentations spread an aura of devotion amidst the congregation of devotees and the program lasted well into the night. The chief guests on the occasion were Meera Munda wife of central minister Arjun Munda and Jharkhand Women�s Commission chairperson Kalyani Sharan.

The organizing committee for the huge devotional occasion comprised Rajiv Kumar, Anup Ranjan, Nutan Kumari, Rashmi Narayan, Dr Manoj Kumar Sinha, Raj Kishore Sahu, Shilendra Kumar Mishra, Shikha Roy Chowdhury, C Uday Bhaskar, Anju Shah, Durga Ghosh Chowdhury, Sudarshan Mahto, Chandra Shekhar Singh, Vijay Kumar Singh, Shiv Prasad Shah, Kumud Singh, Rina Sahu, Dolly Chakraborty and Robin Chakraborty.
