Sai a symbol of human service: Dr. Sidhu

Jamshedpur, March 16: The third Sai Jyot Mahotsav was organised by Sai Manav Seva Trust at Michael John Auditorium on Saturday evening. The mahotsav was jointly inaugurated by famous Dr. Kripal Singh Sidhu and priests of various temples by lighting the traditional jyot.
Addressing the Sai devotees, Dr. Sidhu said, miracles and awakening of Sai continues in today’s world also and in kaliyug devotees are witnessing marvel of Sai from the last 100 years. He further said that Sai is a symbol of human service and his devotees also need to focus on human service above all.

Sai devotee groups from Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan along with those from other districts converged with the Sai Jyot at Michel John Auditorium. Earlier, all the devotees assembled at G Town Sai Temple and with their route number arrived at venue via St. Mary’s Church road.
Later, the prizes were given away to different Sai temples. First prize was bagged by Sonari Khuntadih Sai temple, second was Burmamines Carriage colony Sai Temple, third prize was won by Telco Prakash Nagar temple, fourth on the list was Kagalnagar Sonari and fifth prize was received by Sini temple.
The prizes included miniature silver slippers of Baba Sainath and silver statutes of Sai were given away to winning temple committee. Every team which carried the Jyot was awarded silver statues of Sai Baba.
Earlier, the Mahotsav commenced with the showing of feature film, �Shirdi ke Sai Baba� on the occasion of 100 years of the saint�s Samadhi.
The film show was followed by Sandhya Arati. Devotional songs were presented thereafter. Prizes will be distributed prior to the conclusion of the events.
Organizing committee members BN Sinha, Pritam Singh Bhatia, Kanhaiya Upadhyay, Fazal Khan, Dharmendra Prasad, Dharmendra Sonekar, Sanjay Pandey, Sanjay Sharma, Gurusharan Singh, Aruna Bhatia, Mita Chakraborty, Gurusharan Kaur, Nitu Sao, Soma Pradhan, Kavita Pradhan and Renu Agrawal played vital role in making the event successful.
