SAI International Residential School student Soumili becomes regional CBSE topper after re-evaluation

Bhubaneswar/Cuttack, July 4: SAI International Residential School (SIRS), Cuttack, has added another milestone to its academic achievements after student Soumili Maitra emerged as one of the Regional Toppers across Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination 2026 following the re-evaluation of answer scripts by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

A resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, Soumili, a Humanities student, secured an impressive 99.2 per cent, highlighting her academic excellence, dedication and consistent hard work. Her achievement has brought pride to both her home state and the SAI International Residential School community.

The school also recorded an outstanding overall performance in the CBSE Class XII examinations this year. SIRS achieved a school average of 89.4 per cent. Nearly 26.1 per cent of students scored 95 per cent and above, while 49.8 per cent secured 90 per cent and above, reflecting the institution’s strong focus on academic excellence and holistic education.
