Jamshedpur: The multilingual literary organization Sahyog hosted Holi celebration at Tulsi Bhawan, bringing together members for a colorful and joyous event.
The celebration was filled with laughter and enthusiasm as members were welcomed with garlands made of ladyfinger, tomato, radish, and brinjal, adding a unique touch to the festivities. Sudha Goyal and Dr. Joohi Samarpita playfully greeted friends with humorous banter before embracing everyone with the traditional phrase, “Don’t worry, it’s Holi.” The atmosphere turned even more vibrant with Jayshree’s colorful gulaal, painting everyone’s cheeks in festive hues.
The event featured lively performances, including dance, poetry, and music. Dr. Ragini Bhushan dedicated personalized poetic lines to each member, while President Dr. Mudita Chandra entertained the audience with witty jokes. The program, conducted by satirist Lalan Sharma, kept everyone laughing throughout the evening.
Renowned poets Mam Chand Agarwal and Neelambar Chaudhary enthralled the audience with satirical poetry and a Holi song. Sachin, Vidya Tiwari, and Mamta Karan sang traditional Holi folk songs, while Dr. Shalini Prasad Singh mesmerized everyone with a Kathak dance performance.
Several members, including Dr. Sandhya Sinha, Dr. Pushpa Kumari, Manju, Pushpanjali Mishra, and Madhuri Mishra, actively participated, making the event a memorable one. The celebration concluded on a high note with Anuj Singha’s rendition of “Rang Barse,” which had everyone dancing with joy.
