Jamshedpur, March 13: Three awards have been announced by Sahitya Academy, including Sahitya Academy Main Prize-2020, Sahitya Academy Children’s Sahitya Puraskar-2020 and Sahitya Academy Yuva Puraskar-2020.
Rupchand Hansda is being conferred with the Sahitya Academy Main Award -2020 for his poetry collection book “Gur Da Da Casa Casa” (Gur Paani Kasaela Paani) for Santali language literature. Jairam Tudu will be conferred with the Sahitya Academy Bal Sahitya Puraskar -2020 for the biography of Bhonj Kul Bhurkaru Ipil Sunaram Soren (Lion of Dhunv Tara Sunaram Soren) and Anjali Kisku for the Sahitya Academy Yuva Puraskar -2020 for his poetry collection “Anjale” .
The All India Santali Writers Association has congratulated all the awardees. They are all members of the organization. His achievements were congratulated by Chairman Laxman Kisku, General Secretary Rabindranath Murmu, Assistant General Secretary Mansingh Majhi, Vice President Pitambar Majhi, Vice President Madan Mohan Soren etc.
