Jamshedpur, Mar 13: Telco police on Saturday arrested fugitive criminal Rajendra Paswan and Raju Murmu along with pistol and cartridges while one of their accomplice managed to flee.
The duo had on February 1 committed theft at a English liquor shop in Jemco under Telco thana area. On the confession of Raju Murmu police recovered large quantity of liquor and beer from his house which were stolen from the shop.
Additional SP, Kumar Gauram said that Rajendra Paswan had criminal antecedents and had cases of Arms Act, snatching, theft and looting lodged in Bagbera, Parsudih, Govindpur and Jugsalai police stations. Rajendra Paswan is a resident of Gamharia in Seraikela Kharsawan district while Raju Murmu is a resident of Mirudih under RIT thana area. Rajendra Paswan also has a case lodged at Ramgarh district for dacoity at a jewellery shop and had been to jail in cases committed at Jamshedpur and is out on bail recently.
