Gamharia: Safety Week celebrations concluded at a function in Kerala Public School, Gamharia, on Sunday.
Various competitive events were organized to mark the occasion. Both junior and senior students participated in quiz contest, poster making competition, movie making, Power Point presentation and a fancy dress competition.
The students showed great enthusiasm in the contests. The function was inaugurated by the school principal Rashmi Sinha.
She appealed to students to remain safe and follow safety rules strictly in life. Suicide Prevention Day was also observed today at the venue under the aegis of city-based outfit Jeevan.
A street play was also organized to teach children on the dangerous aspects of suicide and its adverse effect on humanity and society.
Many teachers and students took part in the function to make it a successful event.
