Jamshedpur, June 18: Eco Club of Xavier School, Gamharia organised extempore competition as part of the World Environment Day celebration, on Saturday, June 18.
Students in large numbers actively participated.
Safalta Tezi was crowned the winner followed by Avtansh Jha and Sristy in the junior category.
At the senior level students of class 10 participated. Shreeya Rai was declared the winner, Isha was first runner-up and Piya Das was second runner-up.
It was a tough competition as students had only a minute to speak and three minutes to prepare for the topic.
Judges for the competition were Vice-Principal Fr. Dayanidhi Bishoi, Ian Edward Brunton and Renu Gera.
Teachers Farheen Akhtar, Raunak Srivastav and teachers of the Eco Club played important role in making the event successful.
