Jamshedpur, Dec. 8: The so-called intellectual didn�t see any intolerance during the anti Sikh riots in 1984, Muzzafarnagar riots and other incidents that took place in different parts of the country.
There is conspiracy to tarnish the image of the country and no more cow slaughter will be allowed, alleged Sadhvi Prachi speaking at a function organized at the Sri Tatanagar Goushala in Jugsalai here on Tuesday.
Launching a scathing attack against Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader said, �Their comments on intolerance are for tarnishing the image of India and we should boycott their films so that they face financial loss. They should think twice before making such controversial statements.�
She further alleged that Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and Congress president Sonia Gandhi are also helping these anti-national elements, who are giving the country a bad name. According to her, the �award vaapsi� by well-known writers, filmmakers, scientists and historians is a pressure tactics by anti-BJP forces to return their awards.
The VHP leader appealed to the people to make the first chapatti in the name of cow, which, she claimed, is an Indian culture. She said that all Indians should join Gau Raksha Sangathan and serve cows like they serve their mother.
She further said that Lord Ram is associated with every Indian and a grand Ram Mandir will be built in Ayodhya.
Earlier, Chandulal Bhalotia, president of Goushala welcomed the guests, while Ratan Joshi hosted the event.
