Chandil: Ichagarh legislator Sadhu Charan Mahato has promised support to meritorious students for their higher education.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion of Tusu Mela Mahato said that he would bear financial expenses for engineering course for meritorious students who would get first and second division in ICSE exam.
The students would only have to bear the hostel fees, he promised.
He urged the parents to become more conscious about their children�s higher education.
Mahato observed that without giving stress on education all-round development of the region would be a far cry. A cultural programme was also organized on the occasion of Tusu Mela.
