Shinjini Majumdar of Convent crowned best speaker
Jamshedpur, July 10: Shinjini Majumdar of Sacred Heart Convent School has been declared the best speaker in the stage I- category of the Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter-School Debate Competition organised by Gulmohur High School, Telco, for the students of classes XI and XII from the East Zone, on Monday, July 10.
Moupi Sarkar from Kerela Public School, Kadma won the first runner-up speaker award.
The team from Sacred Heart Convent School was adjudged the ‘Best Team’ at the competition. The first runner-up award went to Hill Top School.

The participating students were from CICSE schools from Patna, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Bhagalpur and Jamshedpur. The topic for the debate was “Social Media gives us no scope for having real peers”.
The moderator for the event was Tania Das from Vidya Bharati Chinmaya School.
The judges for the event were Devoshri Banerjee from Shiksha Niketan School, Anuradha Bose from KPS Burmamines and Tamal Sen from Valley View School.
Winner and first runner-up team will move to the next level of the competition. The event was conducted successfully under the able leadership of Gulmohur High School Principal Priti Sinha and process owners Gargi Mukherjee, Baishali Das Gupta and Jaswinder Kaur.
