Jamshedpur, June 21: International Yoga Day was celebrated with fervor at Sacred Heart Convent School (SHCS) as students and teachers participated enthusiastically in a special session organized by the Sports Department. Renowned yoga instructor Anamika Jha conducted the session, guiding students and teachers through various asanas.
The event kicked off with a dynamic yoga performance by national awardees Nysha Sarkar, Ananya Singh, and Tanisha, setting a vibrant tone for the day. Following this, students actively engaged in both sitting and standing asanas, while the significance of each posture was explained in detail.
Highlighting the benefits of yoga, Principal M. Steffi A.C. emphasized, “Students should incorporate regular yoga practice into their routines to maintain fitness and enhance concentration.”
