Sacred Heart Convent School: Dance, songs mark Teachers’ Day 

Jamshedpur, Sep 5: It was a colourful day at Sacred Heart Convent School today, as the leading educational institute celebrated Teacher’s Day with full enthusiasm.

To commemorate this day, Sacred Heart Convent School’s principal Sister Rashmita conducted mass in the chapel especially to bless the teachers, students and their family members.

School organised programme starting with prayer service followed by prayer dance to make teachers feel special.

To express their love, respect, gratitude, and awareness of the teachers’ dedication to their development, students put on an exhilarating cultural performance which included lot of fun and entertaining dance and songs and some mind boggling games.

The Twelthers also dedicated special dance to the teachers for their selfless service and also sang special songs. By setting up enjoyable activities students kept the teachers amused.

“5th September is the day that will always be etched in our hearts throughout our lives,” said a teacher.

The Teachers’ Day is celebrated across India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888.
