RVSCET students embark on industrial visit to RP Cylinders Company

Jamshedpur, Jan 24: Civil engineering students from RVS College of Engineering and Technology in Jamshedpur undertook an industrial visit to RP Cylinders Company located in Dhalbhumgarh. The visit was organized in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards. Under the guidance of Professor Gangesh Kumar Thakur, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, along with Professor Rajesh Kumar Paswan and Saurbh Rai, Marketing Manager of the Jamshedpur region of the Bureau of Indian Standards, 36 students from the fifth and third semesters of B.Tech participated in the tour.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to witness the assembly of cylinders produced under the Ujjwala scheme by the company. Ranjan Kumar, Plant Manager of RP Cylinders Company, provided detailed information about the company, while Quantity Engineer Abhay Kumar shared insights into the entire manufacturing unit related to cylinders.

The industrial visit aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of practical applications in their field of study. Professor Gangesh Kumar Thakur encouraged the students, emphasizing the importance of such tours in gaining valuable insights into real-world work environments.
