Jamshedpur: Teachers� Day was celebrated with fervour at RVS College of Engineering and Technology(RVSCET) on Friday. Addressing the function, MP Singh, director of the college, said the teachers opened a window to the world for their students.
He said the students should limit themselves to textbooks. Rather the students should learn various practical aspects of the world from their teachers� experience.
Also present on the occasion, the principal of the college Dr Sukomal Ghosh said imparting education was a holy deed. He said the teachers got satisfaction and respect from their sincere work.
By giving the right education and direction to the students, teachers are actually performing a sublime task, he said.
Among others present on the occasion included Dr Rajesh Tiwary, Dr BP Verma, Dr HL Sah, Anant Raj, Parasnath, BN Choudhary and Dr Vikram Sharma.
