Jamshedpur, Feb 7: A group of 48 students from RVS College of Engineering and Technology visited the Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR) in the Adityapur industrial area for an educational tour. The students, from the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments, were accompanied by Prof. Surendra Lader and Prof. Ramswaroop.
During the visit, students explored the Incubation Center at IDTR and received guidance on essential safety precautions while handling machinery. A key highlight of the session was the demonstration of a special protective glove designed to prevent hand injuries in industrial environments.
The students also had the opportunity to visit the ongoing Mega Industrial and Engineering Expo at the Auto Cluster, gaining exposure to the latest technological advancements in the field.
Speaking about the visit, Prof. Surendra Lader said, “Such industrial visits bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application. It is crucial for students to understand safety protocols and real-world challenges.”
The visit concluded with an interactive session, where students shared their enthusiasm and key takeaways from the experience.
