Jamshedpur: Under an MoU between RVS College of Engineering & Technology and NIT Jamshedpur, a six-day online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Wireless Power Transfer with Renewable Energy and IoT Integration’ was held from August 25 to 30, 2025. Sponsored by AICTE ATAL Academy, the FDP was coordinated by Dr. Anamika Das (RVS) and Dr. Ananyo Bhattacharya (NIT).
The program aimed to enhance educators’ expertise in emerging fields like smart grids, electric vehicles, renewable energy, AI, and IoT. Professors, researchers, and industry leaders from India and abroad shared practical and technical insights. Experts such as Dr. P.K. Sadhu (IIT-ISM Dhanbad), Dr. Hasomat Malik (Malaysia), Prof. Akshay Rathore (Singapore Institute of Technology), and representatives from Tata Motors, HCL, and ArcelorMittal addressed participants.
Director of NIT Jamshedpur, Prof. (Dr.) Gautam Sutradhar, lauded the initiative, while RVS Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari and HoD Prof. Thakur Pranav Kumar Gautam were praised for successful execution. The FDP strengthened academic collaboration, encouraged research in clean energy systems, and aligned with India’s net-zero and sustainability goals.
