Jamshedpur, Mar 25: Fahad Mehmood, a fourth-semester MCA student at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, has developed an app, DigiMazdoor, under the “Developed India and Developed Jharkhand” mission. The app, which streamlines daily household tasks while ensuring fair earnings for service providers, received praise at the Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) idea presentation competition. Competing against 30 teams in the final round at JUT, Ranchi, DigiMazdoor stood out for its efficiency and transparency.

The subscription-based app ensures seamless coordination between workers and users. Mentored by Professors Yogendra and Prabhat Purushottam, Fahad secured a ₹30,000 grant from JUT. College Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari lauded the achievement, assuring full support for further development. He also commended JUT’s initiative in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
