Jamshedpur, Oct 30: RVS Academy organized a visit to Cheshire Home as part of its ongoing community service initiative, encouraging students to practice empathy and social responsibility. A group of students, accompanied by teachers, spent quality time with the residents engaging in cheerful conversations and cultural performances that filled the atmosphere with warmth and smiles.
The students also donated essential items such as groceries, toiletries and daily-use materials to support the residents’ needs. The experience offered valuable life lessons, helping students appreciate the importance of compassion and service beyond academics.
A teacher remarked that such visits helped instill values of kindness and humanity, reinforcing that true education extended beyond classroom learning. The management of Cheshire Home expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, while the school Principal praised the teachers and students for their meaningful contribution.
