Jamshedpur, Feb 4: RVS Academy observed World Cancer Day with a special assembly on its campus on February 4, 2026, aimed at spreading awareness and nurturing empathy among students. The programme featured thoughtful student presentations, including a speech on the importance of cancer awareness, informative facts about various types of cancer and a moving poem highlighting hope, courage and compassion.
Through these activities, students gained valuable understanding about the causes, prevention and impact of cancer on individuals and families. The assembly emphasized the importance of early detection, awareness and emotional support for those affected by the disease.
