RUSH 11.0 opens with sport, sound and spectacle at IIM Ranchi

Jamshedpur, Feb 7 :The IIM Ranchi campus burst into energy as RUSH 11.0 – Rendering the Future kicked off with a power-packed opening day, setting an exhilarating tone for the institute’s much-anticipated annual fest.
Blending intense competition with vibrant cultural performances, Day 1 emerged as a celebration of youth, talent, and inter-collegiate camaraderie.
The morning began on a spirited note with a series of sporting events that drew enthusiastic participation from teams across institutions. High-octane box cricket clashes between NIT Jamshedpur and IIM Ranchi set the pace, followed by gripping basketball and fast-moving futsal matches.
The volleyball courts turned into arenas of roaring cheers as teams from Gossner College, Doranda, Amity University Ranchi, and IIM Ranchi locked horns in fiercely contested encounters.
Adding depth to the sporting showcase, table tennis and chess competitions highlighted precision, strategy, and mental endurance.
From 10 am through late evening, the campus remained abuzz with excitement as inter-college rivalries unfolded across multiple venues.
Futsal face-offs between IIM Ranchi and Amity University Ranchi, volleyball matches against NIT Jamshedpur, and a series of chess and throwball contests ensured that the sporting spirit remained at the heart of the day’s celebrations.
As dusk descended, the spotlight shifted from the fields to the stage, ushering in the cultural segment of RUSH 11.0.
The evening opened with a laughter-filled performance by stand-up comedian Aadithya Kulshreshtha, popularly known as Kullu, whose sharp wit and effortless humor had the audience in splits.
The energy continued to build with an engaging musical act by Neerajomatic, creating the perfect prelude to the night’s finale.
The day concluded with an electrifying performance by High Note, the IIM Ranchi band, which left the crowd charged and eager for what lay ahead.
