Jamshedpur, June 1: Rural Green registered a 17-run victory over Jamshedpur Blues in the JSCA Jamshedpur “B” Division League 2025-26 match played at Jamshedpur Ground on Monday.
After winning the toss, Jamshedpur Blues elected to field first in the 20-over contest. Batting first, Rural Green posted 127 for 6 in their allotted overs. Tushar played a fine knock of 57 runs off 52 balls, hitting nine boundaries and one six. Raymond Hapadgara also contributed significantly with 48 runs off 44 balls, including five fours and a six.
For Jamshedpur Blues, captain Indrajit Gupta delivered the best bowling performance, taking three wickets for 27 runs in four overs.
Chasing 128 for victory, Jamshedpur Blues struggled against disciplined bowling and were restricted to 110 for 9 in 20 overs. Alhan Chandra Murmu scored 26 runs, while wicketkeeper Ayatro Bhowal added 24 runs.
Anubhav Kumar Choudhury starred with the ball for Rural Green, claiming 3 wickets for just 12 runs. Raymond Hapadgara picked up two wickets, while Nikhil Mahali also bagged two scalps.
Raymond Hapadgara was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance of 48 runs and two wickets. Match officials were Sujit Kumar and Madan Mohan Mishra, while Rajesh Kumar served as the scorer.
