Ranchi, April 5: Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner Amit Khare said that the Planning and Finance Department has started implementing the schemes of FY 2017-18. He said that out of total budget of Rs. 75,673.42 crore in FY 2017-18, Rs 44,503 crore has been fixed for schemes.

The Planning and Finance Department has started approving authorized committee work for FY 2017-18. New schemes worth Rs. 13,017.91 crore have been approved which included a scheme by PDS named PVTG scheme which has been started from 3rd April last.

Khare said that a review meeting of departmental secretaries will be conducted under his chairmanship in the first half of 7th April, 2017 in the conference room of Project Building to review development work of FY 2016-17, approval and implementation of schemes, implementation of schemes announced in the budget speech of CM, Normal financial work including execution of audited clauses by the AG, adjustment of pending DC bills, e-payment and issues of division of assets of and liabilities between Bihar and Jharkhand.
