Ranchi, March 17: Construction and repair work will be done in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Seraikela jail at a cost of Rs 2.82 crore.
The home jail and disaster management department has allocated funds for this.
The officer concerned for withdrawal and expenditure will be the Jail Superintendent. The Jail Superintendent will withdraw the amount from the district treasury and transfer it to the account of Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation and report to the department. Birsa Munda Central Jail Hotwar Ranchi: Rs 1.36 crore, central jail Ghaghidih: 72.38 lakh and divisional jail Seraikela- Rs 74.24 lakh.
