Ranchi : In a strategic move to enhance law and order maintenance, the Home Jail and Disaster Management Department has sanctioned a sum of Rs 2.20 crore to be distributed among 13 districts, including Ranchi. The allocated funds are designated for various purposes aimed at bolstering the capacity of the police force and ensuring effective management during critical situations.
The fund allocation is earmarked for the development of police force capabilities, issuance of essential instructions to regional officers during sensitive occasions, and deployment of police forces to handle law and order situations, especially during significant festivals, examinations, and times of serious disturbances.
The breakdown of the allocated funds for each district is as follows:
Ranchi: Rs 50 lakhs
Khunti: Rs 20 lakhs
Simdega: Rs 10 lakhs
Hazaribagh: Rs 25 lakhs
Bokaro: Rs 20 lakhs
Dhanbad: Rs 25 lakhs
Jamshedpur: Rs 20 lakhs
Chaibasa: Rs 20 lakhs
Latehar: Rs 10 lakhs
Godda: Rs 05 lakhs
Sahebganj: Rs 05 lakhs
Koderma: Rs 05 lakhs
Seraikela: Rs 05 lakhs
