Ranchi: In response to the urgent directives from Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a dedicated relief team, comprising Zap IT CEO Bhunesh Pratap Singh, Joint Labor Commissioner Rajesh Prasad, and Joint Labor Commissioner Pradeep Robert Lakra, has been dispatched to Uttarakhand. Their mission is to provide vital assistance to 15 workers from Jharkhand who find themselves trapped in a tunnel under construction between Silkyara and Dandalgaon on the Brahmakamal and Yamunotri National Highway in Uttarkashi.
The workers identified as Vishwajeet Kumar, Subodh Kumar (Simradhab), Anil Bedia, Srajendra Bedia, Sukram (Kheerabera), Tinku Sardar (Dumaria), Gunodhar, Ranjit, Ravindra (Manikpur), Sameer (Bankisol), Mahdev (Chelabeda), Bhaktu Murmu (Kundaluka), Chamra Oraon (Lerta), Vijay Horo (Gumad), and Ganapathy (Madugama) are currently facing a challenging situation in the tunnel.
The relief team has been entrusted with the responsibility of visiting the incident site, providing essential aid to the trapped workers, and ensuring regular updates on their condition. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication and offering necessary support to the affected individuals.
