Rotten body of student missing for two months recovered in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A rotten body of a youth has been recovered by the police of Kapali police station from Pudissili forest adjacent to Sonari-Kandarbeda road. The body was hung from the tree with a rope. Police removed the body with the help of villagers. The young man was killed or he committed suicide Kapali police are investigating.

The villagers had informed the police about the dead body seen in the forest of the mountain from Pudicili. The police then recovered the body. All documents, including educational certificates, Aadhar cards, were lying there. Police contacted several mobile numbers found. The body has been identified as Akash Kumar Singh, a resident of Sonari Mallika Apartment, by his father’s name Girish Kumar Singh. The young man was missing since 11 December 2020.

His relatives were searching for him from their level. The complaint was given in writing at Sonari police station on 16 December. His mobile was also switched off due to which the location was not available. The relatives were upset. On being reprimanded, Akash had left the house without telling anyone, taking all his academic documents and identity cards.

He had great affection for sister Rashmi Singh. After leaving the house, he called his sister and said that he was leaving Jamshedpur forever. He has studied engineering in Bangalore. He was preparing for the competitive exam. He was back in Jamshedpur in lockdown. He was the only son of Girish Kumar Singh. The relatives are not in a position to tell anything. Police of Kapali police station kept taking information about the case in Sonari police station.
