Jamshedpur, Feb 21: The spirit of devotion permeated in and around Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi as the Akhand Jyot recitations accompanied with bhajans and dances were performed from 10:30 am to 7 pm. A large number of devotees comprising men’ women and children of all ages were immersed in the devotional flow of proceedings. Special invitee Shiv Kumar Jalan from Jharia recited from the verses of Akhand Jyot and presented devotional songs along with his team that devotees swayed to in ecstatic delight. Shiv Kumar Jalan’s recitation of Akhand Jyot captivated the large number of devotees present on the occasion. Strict COVID -19 protocols were in place during the proceedings. The recitation commenced with Ganesh Vandana.
Women members of Radharani Mandali presented a dance drama on the occasion which was equally engrossing. Hosts, Omprakash Jhajharia and his wife offered prayers under the supervision of priest Ravi Joshi.
Chief guest on the occasion former legislator and BJP state spokesman Kunal Sarangi was presented a photo of Radha-Krishna, scarf and traditional headgear on the occasion.
The eye-catching flower decoration of Baba Shyam’s throne, Akhand Jyot, Chhappan Bhog, Baba’s Kitchen and distribution of consecrated food among devotees were other points of attraction. The flower decoration was done by Suman Flowers of Sakchi.
Among devotees who helped in organizing this religious programme were Kavita Agrawal, Babita Ringasia, Sunita Agrawal, Ritika Parsuram Puria, Muskan Agrawal, mamata Agrawal, Asha Agrawal, Omprakash Ringasia, Naresh Kauntia, Mahavir Prasad Modi, Rajkumar Chanduka, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Chhedilal Agrawal, Dipak Parik, Sunil Debuka, Ashok Agrawal, Pramod Agrawal, Mukund Parsuram puria, Bajrang Agrawal and Vimal Ringasia.
The Akhand Jyot religious text narration event was organized jointly by Radharani Mandali and Shri Rajasthan Kalyan Parishad.
