Jamshedpur: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West celebrated Teachers Day at Deeksha Centre in Sonari on September 5. Alpana Shukla spoke of the importance of the day to the children. Two teachers Nilam of toddler school and Varun who takes computer classes were felicitated.
Children staged song and dance which was appreciated by all.
Toffees and food packets were distributed among children. This centre is run for below economic class children and free education is imparted. Members of the club present were President Dr. Rita Jha, Alpana Shukla, Sanjeev Sehgal, Anupama Sehgal and others.
