Jamshedpur, Aug 13: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organised career counselling session for the children of Harijan Basti, Sidhgoda on Monday.
On the occasion club members spoke about various career choices available for the students after class 10.
PP Anjani Sahay spoke on various technical courses available in Jamshedpur and how they can benefit from it. He encouraged the children to dream big in order to be successful in life. Ajay Gandhi enlightened the children on skilled vocation. He explained how he can help them train on the vocation related to painting and on any civil work. Kamlendu Shukla explained children how important it is to learn computers and about the growing job opportunities in this field. He also spoke on software and hardware training which will make these children get employment in future. He also encouraged children to become teachers as they have done some course in computers. It was an interactive session and children were very happy to have this session organised in their basti. The session ended by vote of thanks proposed by Nibha Mishra.
