Rotary Steel City unveils health projects, clock tower in Jamshedpur

Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital Jamshedpur gets 7-bed NICU

Jamshedpur, June 27: The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City inaugurated three significant welfare projects on Friday, aimed at improving public health and community infrastructure. The events were held in the presence of Rotary District Governor Bipin Chachan and First Lady Shilpi Chachan.

A drinking water station was inaugurated at the CJM Court premises in Sakchi, ensuring access to clean drinking water for court visitors and staff. The event was graced by Chief Judicial Magistrate Vishal Gaurav, Principal District and Sessions Judge Arvind Kumar Pandey, and Club President Shivani Goel.

In another impactful initiative, a 7-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) was inaugurated at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Bistupur. This Global Grant project, valued at ₹60 lakh, was sponsored by Keshavji Chhaganlal Jewelers and includes ventilators, incubators, monitors, and other critical equipment. Club President Shivani Goel and District Governor Bipin Chachan were present and addressed the gathering. The project marks a significant step in neonatal care in the city.

Additionally, an ₹80 lakh Global Grant healthcare project was launched at Rajasthan Seva Sadan Hospital in Jugsalai. It features dialysis machines, ICU beds, and an RO water purification plant. The project was inaugurated by Bipin Chachan and S.P. Bagaria.

Bipin Chachan praised the club’s unity and dedication to service, while Shivani Goel stated, “Our projects aim to bring positive and lasting change in society.”

A Rotary Wheel and a Clock Tower was also inaugurated on the occasion.
