CII Jharkhand celebrated World MSME Day 2025

Jamshedpur, June 27: On the occasion of World MSME Day 2025, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand organized an insightful session titled “Scaling MSMEs to New Heights” to equip micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with essential tools, strategies, and knowledge to thrive in today’s competitive and fast-evolving business environment.

The event focused on key enablers such as financial access, government subsidies, ZED and LEAN certification, digital adoption, and the need for a skilled workforce to help MSMEs achieve sustainable growth and enhanced competitiveness.

Diloo Parikh, Vice Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council and Director, Vaidehi Motors Pvt Ltd, emphasized that, “Empowering MSMEs requires greater financial access, awareness of government schemes, skill development, and digital transformation.” He urged for collective efforts to address the structural challenges facing the sector and reiterated CII’s commitment to building an ecosystem that nurtures innovation, resilience, and access to emerging opportunities.

Vishal Kumar Agarwalla, Vice Chairman of CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council and CEO of CTC Praezision Tools Pvt Ltd, highlighted the importance of the theme “Connect, Collaborate and Grow.” He praised the resilience of MSMEs in the post-pandemic era and noted the role of industrial hubs like Adityapur in Saraikela-Kharsawan district in driving regional industrial growth.

Rajiv Bansal, Convenor of the CII Jharkhand MSME Panel and Head – Supply Chain at Tata Motors Ltd, called for a stronger focus on digitalization, skilling, and quality frameworks like ZED and LEAN to help MSMEs compete globally.

Ranjot Singh, Immediate Past Chairman of CII Jharkhand and MD of Emdet Jamshedpur Pvt Ltd, stressed the importance of innovation, skilled manpower, and internal strength in ensuring long-term sustainability.

Co-Convenor Rajjeev Shukla and Past Chairman Tapas Sahu also underlined the need for formalization, collaboration, and connecting entrepreneurs with growth opportunities, reaffirming CII’s dedication to the transformation of MSMEs across Jharkhand.

The Session on Scaling MSMEs to new heights offered valuable insights into overcoming key growth barriers and leveraging practical enablers such as subsidies, certifications, financial access, and skilled manpower.

Also, on the occasion of World MSME Day, CII Jharkhand Safety Panel announced upcoming program CII Jharkhand Safety Talk 2025 which is to be held on 30th October-1st November 2025 at Hotel Cruze, Jamshedpur and the website for it was launched by Mr Neeraj Sinha, Convenor, CII Jharkhand Safety Panel & Chief – Safety, Tata Steel Ltd.
