Rotary Steel City and Beldih Club conduct cyclothon to promote road safety in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 11: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City and Beldih Club jointly organised ‘Safe Riders Cyclothon’, to spread road safety awareness among the people.

Jamshedpur SSP Prabhat Kumar flagged off the Cyclothon from Beldih Club on Sunday morning.

Top cop also participated in the 10km cyclothon along with 75 other cyclists who had registered for the event.

The participants started on the 10 km cycling route from Beldih Club, traversed through Marine Drive, took a U turn from Atmosphere Restaurant and before culminating at Beldih Club.

Organisers provided refreshments at halfway for a short break followed by breakfast at the finishing line.

Interactors of Sheyn International School enacted a nukkad natak depicting the importance of road safety in a fun and humorous way. Rotaractors from NSU were present throughout the route holding placards with road safety messages and also guiding the cyclists.

Beldih Club Chairman and Vice President, Human Resource Management, Tata Steel Atrayee Sanyal, President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City Nikita Mehta, Simran Saggu, Jalpa Parikh,  Captain Ranvijay Ludra , Nikhil Adesara, Umang Jhunjhunwala, Garvita Taunk, Krishna Kharia, Navita Rungta and other members of the organizing team were present on the occasion.
