Rotary marks 120 years with car and bike rally in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: To celebrate the 120th anniversary of Rotary Day, all Rotary Clubs of Jamshedpur and Chaibasa organized a grand car and bike rally, highlighting Rotary International’s seven focus areas. The rally aimed to promote Peace Building & Conflict Prevention, Disease Prevention & Treatment, Water & Sanitation, Maternal & Child Health, Basic Education & Literacy, Economic and Community Development, Environment, and Polio awareness, along with special club projects.

The event was flagged off by Rotary District 3250 Governor Bipin Chachan, accompanied by his spouse, Shilpi Chachan, from Beldih Club. The rally toured various parts of the city before concluding at the starting point.

Several dignitaries, including PDG Bal Inamdar, PDG Dr. Narayan Mishra, Ashvini Vyas, PDG Dr. Bharat, and PDG Pratim Banerjee, graced the event. Rotary club members enthusiastically participated, decorating their vehicles to reflect the organization’s mission and objectives. The rally was a vibrant display of commitment towards social causes and community development.
