Jamshedpur: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS), Golmuri, organized engaging parenting workshop titled “From Tantrums to Triumphs: Your Guide to Positive Parenting” on Saturday, February 22. The event, held at the KSMS Auditorium, received an overwhelming response, with 150 parents participating eagerly.
Led by renowned child development expert Saloni Priya, the 90-minute interactive session provided practical strategies for managing behavioral challenges, encouraging positive discipline, and nurturing emotional intelligence in children. Using real-life scenarios and research-backed techniques, Priya guided parents on fostering a healthier and more positive relationship with their children.
The workshop was highly appreciated by attendees. “This session gave me a fresh perspective on parenting. The expert advice and real-life examples were incredibly helpful,” shared one parent. Another participant remarked, “I now feel more confident in handling my child’s tantrums with patience and understanding.”
Principal Nandini Shukla expressed her delight at the enthusiastic participation, stating, “Equipping parents with the right tools and strategies is key to supporting our students. The overwhelming response reinforces the importance of such initiatives.”
Encouraged by the success of the event, KSMS plans to organize more such workshops in the future to continue empowering parents and strengthening the parent-school partnership.
