Jamshedpur, Nov. 14: On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina organized a free blood sugar checkup camp at Jubilee Park in front of the Center for Excellence on Saturday morning.�A team of volunteers from Roche Company Accu-check carried out the tests.�
Over 75 morning walkers had their blood sugar level checked. After the checkup healthy idlis were served to all.
World Diabetes Day�is the primary global awareness campaign of the�diabetes�worldwide and is held on November 14 each year.
It was introduced in 1991 by the�International Diabetes Federation�and the�World Health Organization�in response to the alarming rise of diabetes around the world.
