Rotary Club Jamshedpur organises capacity building training

Jamshedpur : Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Midtown held a one day staff capacity building training on topic “Teacher’s Roadmap: Building Responsible Adulthood” at Adarsh Seva Sansthan office’s premises with all the staff members of Adarsh Seva Sansthan (ASES). Rtn Preeti Saini, Consultant Psychologist, Motivational Speaker and Author was the facilitator of the program.

The training’s main objective was to facilitate them to motivate slum students to study keeping in mind their psychosocial backgrounds and also to expose them to experiential teaching methods. It was an interactive session inclusive of various activities like role play, group discussions; and question answer sessions.

 The session was appreciated by everyone, who expressed this would be beneficial to the Teachers to motivate Basti children. They also stressed the importance of psychosocial awareness in providing better education to the students.

The program was attended by 30 members from the organization’s Jamshedpur and Dhanbad centres. It was also attended PP Rtn Shiva Rama Rao from Rotary Club ofJamshedpurMidtown; Prabha Jaiswal, President ASES and Debutosh Dutta, Documentation  officer of CRY.
