Rotary Club Jamshedpur Femina converts dilapidated structure to Happy School

Jamshedpur, June 25: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur’s Femina group recently converted a dilapidated structure into ‘Happy School’ at Mohanpur village. The Happy School, that was repaired, renovated and painted was replete with all basic amenities including and immersion pump. Other features included a carom board, footballs, flying discs, skipping ropes, library and mind game accessories. Two toilets for boys and girls were constructed. Fans and other electrical installations were put in place. It was at PP Pritha Dutta’s dedicated and determined efforts with the whole-hearted cooperation of Rotarians and the Jamshedpur chapter’s Femina wing members that the dream ambition in the form of Happy School was realized. The happiness was reflected on the countanaces of Mohanpur villagers and children including those denizens of nearby villages. Members present at the inaugural included IPP Rtn Shashi Gadia, CP Rtn Pasam Adesra PP Rtn Pritha Dutta, President Elect. Rtn Meena Bugli, Rtn Neetu Bhamra , Rtn Seema Kumar among other dignitaries. A special mention by all Rotarians present including the Femina unit members gave a ‘Big Thank You’ to Pritha Dutta for realizing a dream in the form of Happy School. Pritha, on her part, assured that she would always be available for suggestions to ensure that Happy School’ remained happy.
