Rotary Club Femina blood drive collects 92 units


Jamshedpur, July 1: Rotary Femina has begun its second year of service with zeal and enthusiasm by organising a blood donation camp jointly with Jamipol and Red Cross society.

The camp was held at Red Cross Bhavan, Sakchi on Wednesday, July 1. Chief guest Adarsh Agrawal, MD of Jamipol inaugurated the camp by donating blood. Many donated blood and supported the noble cause while many were rejected for medical issues.

Total 92 units of blood were collected by Femina. Members from femina also donated blood. President thanked to all the donors.

Rotary Districts aims to feed 1.2 million needy children on one day observing this Rotary Femina gave nutritious evening snacks and beverages to the handicapped and needy people of Lepers Colony near Parvati Ghat on the same day.

Presidents from other rotary clubs together with their members were present and together they made the program successful.
