Jamshedpur, October 3: This Durga Puja, Bingo will be paying tribute to 50 glorious years of Bengali rock music in a unique way. The brand has launched ‘Rockanjali,’ a competition that will feature live concerts at six prominent pandals in Kolkata over six consecutive days.
To kick off the celebration, a special Puja song titled ‘Rockanjali’ performed by well-known artistes Siddharth Shankar Roy (Sidhu) and Avijit Burman (Pota) of Cactus, Gaurav Chatterjee (Gabu) of Lakkhichhara, and Anindya Chatterjee of Chandrabindu, has been released.
The competition, aimed at inspiring and connecting with the brand’s core audience, received over 120 entries from Kolkata college students. The winners will get the opportunity to collaborate with 15 of Kolkata’s top rock bands.
In addition, Bingo Tede-Mede will be organizing a first-of-its-kind ‘Concert on Wheels’ under the ‘Rockanjali Puja Tour,’ which will take place from Chaturthi to Navami. Thousands are expected to attend the live performances as the tour visits six iconic Durga Puja pandals across Kolkata, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Bengali rock music.
