Jamshedpur, Feb 17: In a tragic incident in the Bodam police station area near Jamshedpur, A 45-year-old man and Tata Motors employee, a resident of Govindpur, lost his life in a road accident. The victim, identified as Santosh Pandey, was reportedly returning from the Hathi Kheda temple with a friend when the incident occurred.
According to Sona Mardana, the injured companion, they were hit by a speeding vehicle on the Bodam main road, near Chimti village. The impact proved fatal for Santosh Pandey, who succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Sona Mardana, injured in the accident, was promptly taken to MGM Hospital for medical attention.
Upon receiving the information, local authorities and the police reached the accident site, where the body of Santosh Pandey was seized and sent for post-mortem. The incident underscores the importance of road safety and the need for vigilance to prevent such tragic accidents.
