RJD demands crime control

Jamshedpur: A delegation of Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD) members met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal on Wednesday and demanded measures to contain soaring crime in the city and prevent road accidents.

They also demanded construction of flyovers in the city and a drive to free various lands of encroachment.

The delegation was led by Ajit Yadav who alleged that police inaction had led to a deterioration in the law and order situation in the city in the recent past.

He said criminals were committing various crimes like loot, extortion, murder and eve-teasing with impunity.

They further said that youngsters were falling for drugs and other addictive substances and also being lured into crimes for meagre amounts.
