Jamshedpur: Chandan Nag scored five goals, including a hat-trick, to power Kerala Public School, Kadma to a thumping 7-0 victory over DBMS Career Academy in a senior boys league match of the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament here on Thursday.
The one-sided encounter at the Tinplate Sports Complex Stadium was a Chandan Nag show as he notched a triple treat in the 20th, 30th and 42nd minutes. Chandan booted two more goals in the 48th and 56th minutes.
Samiran scored the fifth goal for KPS in the 47th minute while Rakesh Jena rounded off the 7-0 rout of DBMS with a 59th minute strike.
In another junior boys match at the same venue, Gitilata High School upstaged Vig English School 3-1. Nipen Sardar, Lakhindra Bhumij and Somu Mardi scored for Gitilata in the 27th, 49th and 54th minutes respectively while Akash Tudu scored the lone face-saving goal for Vig English in the 44th minute.
In a senior boys� match, Cooperative +2 High School downed Little Flower School (LFS) 2-0. Sankar Tudu and Ramo Soren scored for the Cooperative +2 in the 19th and 62nd minutes.
In yet another junior boys� qualifier at Tinplate Stadium, Sidhu Kanhu Shiksha Niketan edged out UHS 1-0. Vishal Bodra scored theonly goal of the match in the 5th minute.
