Anti-encroachment drive proposed in Burmamines

Jamshedpur: An anti-encroachment campaign is soon going to be launched at Burmamines Market. Tata Steel land department has reportedly prepared a list of encroachers. Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee has been intimated about the proposed drive.
Sources said the main road passing in front of Sister Nivedita School through the market is encroached on both sides. The road is also reportedly dilapidated. There are around 80 odd shops on both sides of the main road and on the footpath. Many carts have also been kept illegally on the roadside, sources said.
Sources said that several shops have been built through encroachment around the Burmamines Market. Despite an anti-encroachment drive launched earlier, the encroachers have once again built structures in the market, sources said.
