Ranchi, Sept 8: Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sunil Kumar Burnwal found many irregularities in the review of Jansawad Kendra & was furious on the officers & staff for their negligence in sorting out the problems. He warned the responsible officers saying that proceedings cannot be denied against them since the govt. will not overlook any laxity in disposing public problems & grievances.
The Secretary found irregularities in the repair work of worn out pipes from Jamunia Dam to Vishungarh Tanda. On the matter of estimation of the scheme, the Secretary asked the officers how the department could prepare the estimate without even knowing the region of the work.
When he was told by the executive engineer that the overseer has given wrong information, he asked the executive engineer why action was not taken against him. The secretary directed the nodal officer to send details through the DC. He laid stress on speeding up the process at Jan Samvad Kendra.
The Secretary was also cross for prolonging the suspension of a staff of Kanke road for the last 6 years. He asked, ��who should be punished for this-the officer who suspended him or the person who lingered the process after suspension�. He demanded a report from the nodal officer by the next week.
In West Singhbhum, a certain middleman Sanjay Nag swindled a farmer�s 40000 rupees. He took out Rs. 50,000 from kisan credit card of the farmer & gave him only Rs.10,000. The Secretary took cognizance of it & ordered to take action against him.
Regarding the transformer installation at Manoharpur in West Singhbhum, Mr. Burnwal charged the nodal officer since the village is in complete blackout for the last 6 months despite the nodal officer�s assurance to install the transformer within a week.
On the kidnapping of a lady of Ranchi for the last 4 years, the Sec. charged the police why the abductors have not been arrested. Today 26 cases were reviewed & directives were given.
