Review meeting: Jamshedpur DC stresses timely completion, transparency

Jamshedpur: A review meeting of engineering departments was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi at the Collectorate Auditorium, where progress of various infrastructure-related schemes was assessed.

The meeting focused on land acquisition for road construction, inter-departmental coordination, and the status of ongoing projects related to hospitals, government buildings, bridges and other key infrastructure. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that strengthening basic facilities in both rural and urban areas is essential for balanced development.

He instructed officials to prioritize pending land acquisition processes to ensure that construction work begins without delay. The Deputy Commissioner also directed departmental engineers to maintain quality and transparency in scheme implementation. He warned that continuous monitoring will be done and any negligence will invite strict accountability.

In addition, all executive engineers were asked to compulsorily upload digital details of their respective schemes on the Gram Sampatti Digital Asset Portal for regular monitoring of developmental works.

Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Paswan, In-charge District Planning Officer, officials from the Road Construction Department, Rural Works Department, Building Construction Department, and other related officials were present in the meeting.
