Jamshedpur: A team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a revenue employee, Shankar Ram, posted in Baharagora circle, red handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2500 on Tuesday. Ram is a native of Ramgarh district.
Leading the team, DSP Amar Kumar Pandey said the SP of ACB, Jamshedpur, had got a complaint against Ram from one Sanjay Kumar Bera, resident of Siyalbeda under Baharagora PS, on 27th January.
Ram had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 5000 from Bera in lieu of land bandobasti. A case has been registered against the accused under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
