Residents of Ashiana Brahmananda Tamolia Seek Urgent Action on Roads, Safety, and Law & Order

Jamshedpur, Aug 14: Residents of the Ashiana Brahmananda Tamolia complex, a gated community of 400 flats, have raised serious concerns over the lack of basic infrastructure, safety hazards, and law and order issues in the area.

Since 2012, the locality has had no proper road connectivity to NH-33 via Paridih Chowk. The only link — a narrow bridge under the jurisdiction of the DC, Jamshedpur — is reportedly in a dilapidated state and at risk of collapse. Additionally, residents allege that nearby basti dwellers are discharging drainage water onto the public service road, creating unsafe conditions for over 4,000 daily commuters.

Encroachments and illegal parking by Govind Vidyalaya school buses, motorcycles, and public vehicles are said to cause regular traffic blockages. Residents claim that despite the school having its own parking area, it does not allow students’ vehicles inside, forcing congestion on the main service road.

The situation is further aggravated by the alleged open sale of drugs and country liquor in the area, with no visible action by authorities. Residents have appealed for media attention to highlight these issues and prompt immediate intervention from law enforcement and administrative agencies.
