Republic Day celebrations at Srinath University

Jamshedpur, Jan 27: Srinath University, Adityapur celebrated Republic Day in the presence of Chief District Judge, Vijay Kumar, Secretary of DLSA, Anamika Kisku, CJM Kavitanjali Toppo Civil Court, Saraikela,  Dharmendra Kumar, Founders, Shambhu Mahato and Sandhya Mahato, Chancellor Sri Sukhdev Mahato, Pro Chancellor Sri Gurudev Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. N. Singh and Trustees Anita Mahato and Moumita Mahato.

The flag was hoisted jointly by Chancellor Sri Sukhdev Mahato, Pro-Chancellor Sri Gurudev Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. N. Singh and Principal of Srinath College of Education, Dr. Balabhadra Jena in the presence of all faculty members and as students.

Sukhdev Mahato expressed his gratitude and motivated the students to take the country forward. The Chief guest, Vijay Kumar gave motivating the students to focus on their studies and career and not get misled in the impulse of their youth. He spoke on the importance of celebrating Republic Day, a day that resulted after multiple sacrifices of our freedom fighters. “Today the country is progressing and the students must develop themselves with the country and keep themselves from wrong company.”  He made the students take an oath that they would complete their courses and establish themselves as rightful citizens.

The NSS Program Officer, Laxmi Kumari, distributed exercise books, stationery and flags among the residents of the villages of Itagarh and Tirla in Saraikela Kharsawan District.
