Jamshedpur, Nov. 3: The renovated and upgraded TMH Clinic at South Park was inaugurated on Thursday by Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhaskaran said that ‘The unique facility which will be provided in the TMH Clinic, South Park is the Defibrillator for Heart related issues.
Regular visits of specialist’s doctors will be started soon in the Clinic. He further said that ‘Both employees of Tata Steel as well as non-employees should take advantage of the clinic as it has adequate capacity.
R Ravi Prasad, President, Tata Workers’ Union, appreciated the work done by Tata Main Hospital. He also stressed on the fact that upgradation of all the TMH clinics in Jamshedpur has attracted the local citizens of the region.
The retired employees of Tata Steel are also taking benefits from the initiative as the clinics also provides regular medicine facility.
Other facilities that will be made available at this Clinic are Emergency care, a day care facility with monitor beds, ECG monitoring and Nebulization.
Blood collection will now be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (three days a week). Specialist OPDs will also run on designated days for benefit of patients.
The function was attended by other officials of Tata Workers Union (TWU), senior doctors of TMH, and employees of Tata Steel.
